About Me

My name is Finley Odin. I am a dancer, artist, and performer living in the northwest of England.

I have been training in contemporary and ballet, among other dance styles and theatre practices, for over twenty years and continue to do so.

I’m known for work that takes audiences on an emotional journey with passionate intimate choreography and performance.

My personal work delves into narratives about the LGBTQIA+ community, drawing from lived experiences.

I have collaborated with choreographers, writers, mentors, electronic musicians, theatre makers, orchestras, visual artists – and of course with many other dancers.

In 2024 I was successfully awarded an Arts Council Grant for Developing Your Creative Practice, to fund a year of training, experimentation, practice and exposure to new dance, with a view to making a positive step-change in the level and range of my work.

I’ve worked extensively with established artists, arts organisations and events including Trans Creative, Superbia, Manchester Pride, TURN ON Fest, Hope Mill Theatre, The Untold Orchestra, Danny Beard, Islington Mill, Contact Theatre, Salford Pride, Sparkle Weekend, HUSK, ICA London and Birmingham Pride.

I am always on the look-out for new fruitful creative partnerships, collaborations, commissions and inspiration.

Let’s make some work together.
